Job Summary:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Teacher to join our team. As a Teacher, you will be responsible for creating a positive and engaging learning environment for students, helping them develop their community integration skills and job related skills . This is a full-time position.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement lesson plans that align with community integration and promote student engagement
- Teach speaking, listening, reading, and writing, math working with other instructors
- Assess student progress through assignments, exams, and projects
- Provide constructive feedback to students to support their language development
- Manage classroom behavior and create a positive learning environment
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to coordinate curriculum and activities
Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field AND at least 1 year of experience in teaching ADULTS WITH AUTISM IN A BILINGUAL_ SETTING_
- Working knowledge of Spanish grammar, vocabulary, and culture
- Familiarity with instructional design principles and curriculum development for ADULTS WITH AUTISM
- Ability to effectively communicate, bilingually, with students, parents, and colleagues
- Excellent organizational skills for lesson planning and classroom management
