Operations Manager for fast-paced Orthodontic Office

My LA Braces is seeking a naturally strategic leader, eager to take on a challenging role which includes being responsible for the success and growth of the Operational side of an established Orthodontic practice. This position will align with the practice leader's vision and be responsible for running the day to day operations (people, process, experience, strategy, marketing, etc.). You will oversee production and collections, employee development, employee recruiting, practice improvements, and generally being accountable for creating efficiencies through empowering other team members and thinking strategically about how to grow and scale our practice. This is not a role for the faint of heart, and an internal confidence and a strong desire to lead will be required.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Set and achieve office goals for production, collection and other key performance indicators involving growth and operations.
  • Supervises team to ensure maximum production and service. Conducts training and performance evaluations to achieve goals.
  • Works with the marketing team to develop a marketing plan to ensure an increasing stream of new patients.
  • Directs team performance by overseeing team training and recruiting efforts through application screening, interviewing, and hiring procedures.
  • Maintains and enforces personnel Policy Manual, and keeps practice in compliance with health regulations and OSHA.

Key Position Requirements:

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in charge of operations and/or management.
  • Demonstrable people skills in relating to patients and motivating patients to take first steps.
  • Reliable work ethic in completing tasks efficiently and follow up with detail.
  • Proficient in computer software and ability to learn and use other dental and task management software efficiently.
  • Desire and ability to learn and improve constantly. We will train you on our systems but you must be willing and open to learn and implement.
  • Monthly and Annual Planning reports and meetings.
