Our Preschool Academy has an immediate opening for a Summer Camp Teacher to join our team.

Must be energetic, a team player and maintain a positive attitude. Must meet basic requirements of local child care regulatory agency. Previous experience is preferred.

Full-Time Role: Availability from 9:30 PM to 6:30 PM, with flexibility during the morning hours.

Essential Job Responsibilities:

• Supervise children at all times maintaining a secure, safe environment for children to play and learn in.
• Attend ongoing training to keep education and regulations up to date.
• Implement and create lesson plans based on a weekly theme.
• Complete necessary classroom reports.
• Follow the center’s policies, procedures, and regulations as well as those from DCF.
• Drive the bus (14 passenger) from the elementary schools we serve to our school.

Required Experience and Skills:

• Classroom teaching experience.
• Must be physically able to lift a minimum of 40 pounds
• Must be a team player, able to adapt to a continuously changing, fast-paced environment and make the children need the primary focus.
• Have a love for children and a strong desire to make a difference

Required Education/Certifications:

• High School Diploma required
• Staff Credential preferred
• 45 DCF Hours preferred
• CPR and First Aid required
• Driver License required

Job Type: Full-time
