Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team. As a Registered Nurse, you will provide exceptional patient care and support in various healthcare settings. Your expertise and dedication will contribute to the overall well-being and recovery of our patients.
Duties:
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, symptoms, and progress
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure quality patient care
- Educate patients and their families on disease management, treatment plans, and preventive measures
- Assist with medical procedures and provide emotional support to patients
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and ensure compliance with regulatory standards
- Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a safe environment for patients and staff
Requirements:
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Washington
- Proven experience in providing direct patient care
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, procedures, and best practices
- Familiarity with electronic health record systems (Cerner)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
Skills:
- Proficient in patient care techniques and procedures
- Knowledge of behavioral health principles and practices
- Familiarity with ICD-9 coding for accurate medical documentation
- Understanding of workers compensation laws and regulations
- Experience with durable medical equipment (DME) utilization and management
- Familiarity with sonography procedures and interpretation
