RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Oversee and manage the daily operations of the nursing department
• Provide leadership and guidance to nursing staff
• Ensure high-quality patient care is delivered in accordance with established standards and protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
• Conduct regular assessments of patient needs and adjust care plans as necessary
• Monitor and evaluate the performance of nursing staff
• Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
• Manage staffing levels and schedules to ensure adequate coverage
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives
• Serve as a resource for nursing staff regarding patient care, case management, and airway management

REQUIREMENTS:

• Graduate of an accredited/approved school of Nursing.
• Alaska Registered Nurse License upon hire.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
• 3 years - Clinical experience.
• 2 years - Recent clinical supervisory experience or charge nurse experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree - Nursing (All Registered Nurses without a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in nursing must obtain a bachelor’s degree in nursing or higher within 30 months of hire. Exceptions will be considered on a case-by-case basis at each facility by the most senior administrative nursing leader in consultations with the Human Resource Leader.) Certification within area of expertise or practice (Nursing Management, CCRN, CEN, etc.) upon hire.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $95,000.00 - $155,000.00 per year
