My Care Labs is Hiring a Phlebotomist Near Fremont, CA

My Care Labs, a leading diagnostic testing provider, is seeking an experienced and skilled Phlebotomist to join our dynamic team. As a Phlebotomist, you will play a crucial role in our commitment to providing high-quality healthcare services to our clients. If you have a minimum of 3-5 years of phlebotomy experience, (must have experience with Hard stick patients) and are dedicated to delivering compassionate care, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform venipuncture and capillary puncture with a focus on patients who are hard sticks.
  • Conduct additional stick attempts when necessary, demonstrating persistence and professionalism.
  • Utilize alternative vein locations, such as hands, to successfully draw blood samples.
  • Ensure accurate labeling and documentation of collected specimens.
  • Work collaboratively with healthcare teams to coordinate and prioritize patient care.
  • Travel to various client locations as required.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and maintain a positive patient experience.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a Phlebotomist, with a strong emphasis on hard stick cases.
  • Proficiency in performing venipuncture and capillary puncture techniques.
  • Comfortable and skilled in dealing with patients who may be anxious or difficult during the blood drawing process.
  • Ability to perform additional stick attempts with patience and precision.
  • Experience working with elderly patients, preferably in care home or hospice settings.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility and willingness to travel to different client locations.
  • Valid phlebotomy certification.

Additional Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a care home or hospice setting.
  • Familiarity with specialized equipment related to hard stick cases.
  • CPR certification.
