Purpose of the job:To assist with the conduct of study trials, preparing all necessary materials for day to day functions, facilitating study enrollment and supporting the laboratory.

Main activities:

●Works with study coordinators to ensure participant enrollment

●Provides administrative and clinical support, including taking vital signs and assisting with participant visits, as needed

●Perform recruitment calls and interact with potential participants to determine study eligibility

●Maintains a high level of knowledge and understanding of assigned protocols

●Prepares necessary material for day to day functions

●Completes study related documents

●Adhere to Good Clinical Practices

●Able to support the laboratory, specifically: Collect routine blood and urine specimens; Collect timed specimens, utilizing IV’s at times; Process and ship patient samples to various reference laboratories; Order and process incoming supplies; Adhere to CDC recommendations and OSHA requirements

Internal Interlocutors:All clinic and CRO staff. Supports clinical and administrative team.

External Interlocutors:Works directly with the public and stakeholders. Nature and objectives of communication (report, explain, influence, negotiate…): Engage and recruit study participants. Support clinical and administrative team.
