Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and self-motivated Store Manager for our Lake Anna, VA. location. The individual must have excellent communication skills and the ability to supervise all operations of the store. To be successful, the Store Manager must be confident and show creativity for innovative ideas and problem solving. Must be trustworthy and dependable while building strong working relationships with customers, employees, and vendors. The Store Manager must display leadership through continued self-development, coaching, delegation, and communication.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Set and manage employee schedules.
  • Facilitate training for new employees on products, procedures, and ERP.
  • Promote store and products.
  • Set and monitor inventory levels.
  • Maximize store revenue and profit.
  • Work with local businesses and municipalities to promote Cardinal.
  • Work with other locations to improve operations, purchasing and customer relations.
  • Oversee property maintenance.
  • Work closely with HR on employee concerns.
  • Must follow all company safety policies.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • GED or equivalent (required).
  • Construction background (preferred).
  • Retail management (preferred).
  • Proficient with computers and other standard office technology (required).
  • Excellent leadership skills (required).
