Job Summary:

This position includes day to day production setup and operation for the Point Grind machine to process parts to blueprint specifications. In this role, an individual will also be required to train new individuals on the Point Grind machine in a non-managerial capacity.

Essential Job Functions:

• Will operate point grind machines under minimal supervision.
• Maintain proper equipment, inventory, and tooling.
• Produce at a given production rate.
• Troubleshoot problems.
• Train new employees on Point Grind machine.
• Adhere to all safety guidelines, policies, and procedures.

Skills & Abilities:

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented, manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail with an emphasis on quality work.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.

Education, Experience, & Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum of one (1) year related experience and/or training on a Point Grind Machine required.
• Ability to work flexible hours and over time when required to meet customer demand.
• Ability to perform quality checks on parts utilizing the proper instruments.
