MW is looking for an experienced welder/fabricator for our metal shop. We are growing rapidly, and we need to find someone to fit into our team and take the lead on some exciting projects. Self-starting and a willingness to learn are a must for this position as we create custom one-off staircases, entry doors, railings, furniture, and other installations. You will work alongside our design and woodworking teams on these large-scale assemblies. We use digital design and CNC technology extensively in our fabrication, married alongside traditional woodworking skills, aerospace welding, manual machining, and old-world black-smithing. Our people get to interact and learn from each other everyday, and work together on challenging and engaging projects.

Some of the requirements for this position include but are not limited to:
- Experience with reading plans and communication with design engineer
- Good leadership and an ability to break down large projects into smaller pieces
- Strong communication skills and information tracking
- Experience with MIG/TIG/STICK welding processes both in a shop environment and the field
- Must have experience with carbon and stainless steels.
- Bronze, copper, brass, aluminum and exotic alloy experience is a plus
- Management and distribution of design information for projects
- Strong collaboration and communication with coworkers as well as with clients
- Organized work area and work flow is a must
- Some experience with vertical mills, lathes, and other machining centers
-All candidates must pass a mandatory drug test prior to start date
