Job Summary:

Responsible for operating water recycle and evaporator systems in the plating department in an efficient manner in or to maximize water recycling process while maintaining process efficiency and safety compliance.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Monitor and operate current water recycle and evaporator system according to defined processing parameters to achieve optimum processing efficiencies.
• Perform daily maintenance of rinse water system and evaporator system as required and perform quality control checks.
• Perform weekly, monthly, and quarterly systems maintenance.
• Maintain maintenance logs on process rinse water recycle and evaporator system.
• Utilize services of in-house chemist for any analytical operations needed to operate equipment.
• Communicate with General Manager, Plating Supervisor and Chemist in the event of a malfunction.
• Perform general housekeeping duties and master sanitation schedule tasks as necessary.
• Manage chemical feed systems and oversee store tank levels to ensure compliance with regulations.

Skills and Abilities:

• Standing, pushing, pulling, reaching may be required.

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma/GED
