Role Summary: The Project Specialist, Employer Records holds a pivotal role helping to install new takeovers as well as overseeing the quality assurance of Department output, encompassing plan install, amendments and fee eligibility. This position also plays an important role in the development and testing of technological improvements in-line with corporate objects. With a background in Omni DC, the specialist works alongside a team of skilled professionals. Operating in a hybrid role based in Boca Raton, Florida, this position interacts with management across departments, serving as an important contributor to the organization's Administrative Operations division. Responsibilities include analyzing Adoption Agreements for setup with the Omni Recordkeeping system, reviewing and approval of plan installs completed by other team members, review of monthly and Quarterly eligibility toward fee waiver and/or increase/reductions fees and helping identify and execution of projects aimed at process improvements. 

Responsibilities:

Management:

  • Collaborates with team members to install plan takeovers and amendments within the Omni DC recordkeeping system
  • Assists with Departmental quality assurance with regards to recordkeeping updates and ongoing management
  • Monitors eligibility with regards to reduction/increases in fees assessed to Employers and Plan Participants

Special Projects:

  • Collaborates with business analysts, developers, and stakeholders to understand and test business requirements in future development.
  • Assists with Departmental cross training for quality assurance.

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Collaborate seamlessly with teams across various departments to ensure accurate reporting, transparency, and alignment with business objectives.
  • Communicate information clearly and effectively to internal and external stakeholders.

Process Improvement and Automation

  • Identify opportunities for process enhancements and automation with alignment with best practices.
  • Lead or contribute to special projects aimed at improving takeover and pricing processes leading to overall operational effectiveness.

Required Qualifications:

  • College degree or equivalent work experience in the retirement industry
  • 1 years of experience with FIS Omni, DVW and/or OWS system
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Well organized and ability to work independently
  • Ability to scan databases for requested information
  • Working knowledge of the various Microsoft Office products

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1 years of experience in the retirement industry
  • Accreditations from CEBs, LOMA or other industry related training programs
