Mustang Star Auto Detail & Car Wash is a car wash and detail center in Mustang, OK. The car wash site has been open for 20 years and current ownership purchased the site in 2022. We are a small team of car ethusiasts that are laid back, respectful, and always striving to be better. We care about our customers and making sure the equipment is working correctly for them and they leave there with a clean vehicle and happy. Our goal is to offer an environment that's supportive, respectful, and offers everyone the opportunity to grow. .

Mustang Star Auto Detail & Car Wash is seeking a car wash maintenance technician to help keep this ship running smoothly!

We have five self serve bays, an IBA, and two central vacuums. The express tunnel was recently decomissioned and that tunnel has been converted into an auto detailing center. The backroom equipment remains and is on the radar for removal as time allows.

You'll need to be self-proficient at the common repairs around self serve, IBA, and vacuums. This includes, but is not limited to:

• Low voltage solnoids, wiring, and troublshooting
• Coin and bill changers
• HTK pay station (Goldline, if you're familiar with them)
• Flojets
• Pressure pumps
• R&R electric motors
• Air compressors
• Plumbing - air, water, chemical, one-way valves, etc.
• Reverse osmosis and water softener system maintenance and light repairs

Your hours will vary based on the what's working well and what's not working well. Average hours will likely be around 15 hours / week, though. At times, you'll be working alongside our existing maintenance man extraordinaire and he'll show you the lay of the land.

Your hours are somewhat flexible around the typical working hours of the detailing center. You may be asked to work short weekend shifts to function test the bays, empty trash, etc. Callouts may occassionally occur if a critical piece of equipment goes down.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 25 per week

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed

Experience:

• commerical car wash: 5 years (Required)
• self serve car wash: 5 years (Required)
• In-Bay Automatic car wash: 5 years (Required)
• Low voltage: 5 years (Required)

Ability to Relocate:

• Mustang, OK 73064: Relocate before starting work (Required)
