**1st shift** $2,000.00 Bonus = $1,000 after 90 days and $1,000 after 1 year

Position OverviewThe Maintenance Electronics Technician supports maintenance area regarding equipment installation,maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs for horseshoe manufacturing and distribution operationsequipment with an emphasis on electronic, mechatronic, PLC’s , and robotics necessities .DemonstratesMustad values, showing respect for and engagement with co-workers, especially as they contribute to aquality product and organization success.Essential Job Functions(required duties and responsibilities)To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.Assistssupervisorsandtechnicianswithtechnicalsupport(electronics,PLCs,robotics)intheinstallation, maintenance, and repairs of facility equipment.Follows allsafety and SOP regulations and procedures, including the Mustad Performance System(MPS)Assists with training, coaching, and monitoring of technicians, as well as supporting production team inproviding feedback for process improvement, failure analysis and problem resolutionIs responsible for supporting of all maintenance activities related with electronic components, PLC’smaintenance and programming, robotics maintenance and programming programs on an establishedschedule using the PM software, and provides documentation as needed and reportsPerforms preventative maintenance on an established schedule, including testing on energizedelectrical equipmentif needed.Conductsfailureanalysistodevelopandleadimprovementactivitiesandprojectsacrossmanufacturing and distribution functionsPerforms other duties as requested by management

Education, Experience, and Skills RequirementsTraining and/or certification in electronic, electrical, mechanical, PLC, robotics5 years of general maintenance experience including trouble shooting and correcting problems withPLC, Robotics, electronic, electrical, hydraulics, pumps and motors, control circuits and power supplymay be considered in lieu of formal trainingContinuous improvement mindset with a strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing tools and principlesComputer proficiency, including MS office platformAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionDemonstrated skills with Programmable Logic Control (PLC) programs and Human Machine Interfaces(HMIs)Demonstrated proficiency with robotic operation/ maintenanceAbility to read, write and speak EnglishDesirable Skills/Attributes(preferred but not required)Ability to train and coach others, contribute as a team memberExperience with TPM standards and development

Physical DemandsProlonged periods of standing, walking, sitting at computerAbility to frequently stoop, kneel, bend, balance, reach above shoulders, crouchAbility for frequent use of hands to feel, handle, touch, or manipulateSpecific vision requirements for this position include close vision, distance vision, color vision,peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focusFrequently lift up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift/move up to 75 poundsWork EnvironmentFactory settingExposure to heat, humidity, dust fumes, gases, toxic/caustic chemicals, airborne particlesExposure to significantly loud noiseExposure to moving mechanical parts on line, as well as moving equipment throughout the factoryMandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) which the company providesInfrequent exposure to heights
