Job Overview:

Americatz is looking for a Route Buyer to work from our Hazelton, PA branch. The Route Buyer will purchase catalytic converters, service existing suppliers and develop new customers using a route base system. All purchases are bought, loaded, and brought back to the Americatz warehouse and prepared for shipment. There is approximately a 150-mile radius for purchasing and customer service from Hazelton, PA.

Duties:

• Purchase of catalytic converters using an advance comprehensive mobile converter data base

• Develop customer relationships

• Ability to be self-motivated and self-disciplined

• Comply with driving rules, regulations, company policies and procedures

• Must be able to work independently within protocols and guidelines of the company

• Candidate must have good communication skills (phone, email, in-person)

• Ability to stay organized in a fast-paced environment

• Proficient in Microsoft systems and electronic devices

Qualifications:

• High school education

• Strong negotiation skills and ability to build relationships with suppliers

• Route/delivery experience is a plus

• Lift up to 50 – 100 lbs.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines

• Pass background check, credit check, drug screen and MVR (clean driving record)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
