Event Specialist
The Event Specialist is a driven, detail-oriented member of the museum’s team that oversees the logistics of all MOCA events, programs and facility rentals. Reporting to the Guest Experience and Operations Manager they are responsible for meeting annual facility rental goals and ensuring that the vision for each program and event is executed in a well-organized, cost-efficient manner.

This is a full-time, salaried position, with evening and weekend hours required as needed. Flexible scheduling and comp time are available with prior approval. A level 2 background check will be required upon offer of employment.
Reports to: Guest Experience and Operations Manager
Supervises: None
Compensation: Salary starting at $48,000 annually, commensurate with experience and including an excellent benefits package

For special events, must be able to remain standing for several hours at a time. Position may require occasional lifting of 25 pounds or less.
