Job Description
The AP Coordinator is responsible for providing financial and administrative support to the Controller of the firm. This includes processing and monitoring vendor payments and Companywide expenditures. Able to be proactive and efficient so vendors are paid within time limits.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Process invoices and cut checks on a weekly and sometimes daily basis.
- Process monthly Lease payments.
- Responsible for support documentation to identify signature review and approval.
- Follow procedures related to identifying vendor 1099 setup for year end.
- Prior experience in using accounting software systems.
- Scanning and filing invoices for payment as well as answering emails and phone calls from Vendors.
- Proactive in researching invoice discrepancies and problem solving.
Skills/Qualifications
- Experience in Quickbooks online software or Desktop.
- Minimum of one year experience in Accounts Payable process.
- Strong proficiency in Excel
- Strong Communication, Problem Solving, Organization and the ability to Multitask.
