MUSC is a tertiary care hospital with active transplantation, molecular diagnostics, and cytogenetics services, as well as an apheresis service. Our department has approximately $5 million dollars in extramural funding annually and is consistently ranked in the upper half of pathology departments in the United States for National Institutes of Health funding.Entity

MUSC Minimum Qualifications
Ph.D., M.D. (with relevant ABP Board Certification) or equivalent degree. Certification for direction of high complexity laboratory by HHS-approved agency is required for Ph.D. applicants.
