Job Description Summary
The Supply Chain Technician III performs varied essential materials, distribution, and logistics tasks within the department of Materials Management in support of clinical activities within the medical complex. The focus of this job purpose is based on the ability to determine replenishment requirements, locate, select, document issue of, and distribute medical supplies in all areas including hospital floor units, procedural areas, OR and peri-op locations as well as ambulatory locations as applicable. Additional Job Description
High school graduate (or GED equivalent) and 4 years of related work experience or two years as a Supply Chain Technician II. Ability to work rotating weekends, rotating shifts and holidays. Requires the ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing as well as demonstrated ability to perform recordkeeping tasks, shipping/receiving, physical inventories and quality control checks. Must be computer literate and have intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office and E-Mail systems such as Outlook. Must possess the ability to learn Materials Management related software and other related technology. A valid South Carolina driver’s license is preferred
