Job Description Summary
The Control Systems Technician will monitor, maintain adjust, and repair building automation control systems owned or leased by the Medical University of South Carolina in order to ensure safety, environmental control and economy of mechanical, electrical, systems. These control systems include, but are not limited to, HVAC equipment, Medical Gas, Fire and Smoke Control and Electrical Distribution systems. The incumbent will, on a rotating basis, work at a control work station to monitor systems and work in the field repairing, adjusting and testing control systems as they interface with various equipment. Incumbent is Considered Essential Personnel in a disaster.Entity
