Summary
Assist with the care of patients as delegated by the RN, Physician, or Mid-level provider. Provide secretary / clerical assistance.
Tasks that may be delegated include, but are not limited to, vital signs, accucheck, ambulation, simple (non-sterile) dressing changes, toileting assistance, EKG’s, patient transport to other departments, answering the phone, faxing, preparing charts.

Education :
High school graduate.
Complete Clinical Competencies required for assigned area before working off orientation.
Experience :
CNA, Medical Assistant, EMT, Current RN or LPN student, or preferred one year experience in an acute care hospital setting.
Licenses / Certificates :
BLS required.
