Responsibilities: Summer work as a crew painter/prepper at the district school facilities under the supervising

painting specialist in the maintenance department. The work includes painting asphalt grounds,
curbs, floors, classroom, office, and restroom ceilings, walls, trim, doors, building exteriors. Work
at height on scaffolds and ladders. Use of hand and/or power tools to properly prepare surfaces
for priming and painting. Taping with plastic and paper hand maskers to protect surfaces NOT to
be painted. Paint/primer application will be with brushes, rollers, and spray equipment. On the
job training and ongoing instruction is provided.

Minimum
Requirements: HS Graduate/equivalent; Physical Strength/Agility, Balance, Dexterity, and Stamina; Ability to

work efficiently and well without direct oversight; Attention to detail and neatness; Teamwork;
Effective Communication Skills

Job Specifications: Seasonal part time position – 28 hours per week. 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM

This position will begin on Monday, June 10, 2024 and end approximately August 9, 2024,
depending on budget/work projects.

Salary Range: Pay Grade 4

$15.11 to $21.88 based experience and/or education
