FABRICATION SHOP PROJECT ADMINISTRATOR

We are looking to fill the position of assisting personnel in our fabrication shops and virtual construction department. Individuals must be able to multi-task and work with several managers at once.

Work will be in an office setting with the team you will be supporting immediately available. This position reports to and takes daily direction from the Fabrication Shop Manager.

Individual is responsible for fabrication shop support as it pertains to the following duties

• Complete daily / weekly time entry for all personnel in the fabrication shop.
• Coordinate with payroll and ensure time is submitted properly.
• Order materials as directed by fabrication foreman.
• Assist with project documentation as required. Scanning and depositing in proper folders.
• Must understand databases and be able to submit suggestions for improvement to IT department.
• Enter estimates into our software systems as provided by fabrication foreman.
• Make sure that our fabrication software has proper data entered at necessary locations.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft software programs.
• Motivation to work within a fabrication facility.
• Be able to work with other departments to assist in tasks that they need completed.
• Assist the Fabrication Shop manager in additional tasks as requested.

Since Murphy Company operates in a cooperative, team environment; other duties and responsibilities may be assigned as needed.

Job Requirements

Dependable and responsible individual who can take direction and require minimal supervision; a self-starter that will take initiative to seek out additional work when needed and follow-up with projects, seeing them through to completion.

Individual should demonstrate the ability to create and maintain Microsoft office software to include Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Outlook.

Must have strong written and verbal communication skills with advanced administrative skills. Previous construction administration support is a plus.

Pay Range : $45,000 - $55,000 per hour
