Must know how to diagnose electrical / mechanical / work on older and newer vehicles; gas and diesel engines. Willing to help out when needed with smaller repairs. Work in a fast paced but accurate repair shop. Pay and benefits based on experience. Monday-Friday 8-5 -90 day break-in. ASE Cert a plus

• Must be able to remove, install engines, transmissions, diffs, drive shafts, ball joints, lifts, ect.
• Must have good references and a positive and solid work history in mechanics.
• Must be able to work in an office environment and operate windows systems

Skills and relevant work experience

• Physical fitness and stamina, to stand up for long periods of time, lift heavy materials or work in small and cramped spaces
• Leadership skills, be responsible for instructing small teams of other mechanics
• Attention to detail, spotting and restoring damage requires someone who can notice even the smallest imperfections
• Customer-service skills, must be understanding, courteous and be able to communicate ideas, problems and solutions to paying customers
• Time management skills, ensure that repairs are completed before the deadline. Will also potentially need to manage the time of other mechanics
• Dexterity, carefully fix many issues, using various tools, which requires a steady hand and excellent hand-eye coordination
• Critical thinking skills, must be able to accurately evaluate vehicle damage and determine necessary repair strategies

There is room for advancement with more knowledge. Pay based on experience.
