Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented 3D Printing Technician to join our team. As a 3D Printing Technician, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining our 3D printers, ensuring high-quality prints, and assisting with design and production processes. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for technology and innovation.

Duties:

- Operate and maintain 3D printers, including setup, calibration, and troubleshooting

- Prepare print files using CAD software and ensure proper settings for optimal print quality

- Monitor print progress and make adjustments as needed to ensure successful completion

- Perform post-processing tasks such as cleaning, sanding, and painting of printed objects

- Collaborate with the design team to optimize designs for 3D printing

- Conduct quality control checks to ensure prints meet specifications and standards

- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in 3D printing technology and techniques

Requirements:

- Strong knowledge of 3D printing principles, processes, and materials

- Experience in a manufacturing environment is more important than knowing how to use a 3d printer

- Proficiency in CAD software for layout design and file preparation

- Attention to detail and ability to work with precision

- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues

- Ability to work independently as well as collaborate effectively within a team
