Munck Wilson Mandala is looking to add an entry-level Patent Docketing Specialist to our team in the Dallas office. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a high-volume, high-energy, team-oriented environment in the Patent Docketing Department under the supervision of the Docketing Manager.

Candidate must:

• Be tech savvy –with advanced skills in Excel and be able to compile/import/export large amounts of data into the docketing software with accuracy.
• Be dependable, responsible, and punctual.
• Possess excellent written/oral communication, proofreading and organizational skills.
• Be detail-oriented, able to multi-task and have the knowledge and skills necessary to prioritize their workload independently from start to completion each day.

Candidate will:

• Monitor and analyze various types of patent correspondence and docket reminders and deadlines in the firm’s docketing software (Anaqua).
• Open, monitor and maintain patent records in Anaqua by reviewing US and Foreign Patent databases.
• Manage various projects assigned by the Docketing Manager.

The desired qualifications and/or requirements of the IP Docketing Specialist include but are not limited to the following:

• Advanced Excel skills and the ability to compile/import/export large amounts of data into the docketing software with accuracy.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Must take initiative and be a self-starter.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Availability and flexibility to work weekends and/or holidays on an as needed basis.
• Patent or intellectual property docketing experience is ideal, but it is not a requirement if candidate has an interest in pursuing a career in the patent field.
