Field Service Biomedical Engineer 2

Job Summary

The Field Service Biomedical Engineer 2 will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance services for medical equipment in hospitals and clinics. The successful candidate will be able to troubleshoot and repair complex medical equipment, as well as provide training and support to end-users.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repair of medical equipment in hospitals and clinics.
• Provide technical support to end-users, including troubleshooting and problem-solving.
• Train end-users on the proper use and maintenance of medical equipment
• Document all service activities and maintain accurate records.
• Collaborate with other members of the service team to ensure timely and effective resolution of issues.
• Stay up to date with new technologies and industry trends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in biomedical engineering or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in the maintenance and repair of medical equipment
• Strong technical skills and ability to troubleshoot and repair complex medical equipment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
• Must pass background and drug screen.

Physical Demands

The Field Service Biomedical Engineer 2 must be able to lift and move heavy equipment, stand for extended periods of time, and work in a variety of environments, including hospitals and clinics.
