A national multi-family management company seeks a highly motivated, fast-paced, and experienced Service "Maintenance" Technician to join our team in Rock Hill, SC. Position Summary:

To preserve and maintain the physical facilities and grounds within the community so they are safe and aesthetically appealing to residents and prospective residents. Assists in all aspects of the community's maintenance, including grounds, custodial, preventive, corrective, deferred, and emergency maintenance. Assists Service Manager in performing his or her duties.

Job Responsibilities:

• Ensures service is provided to residents in a prompt and professional manner.
• Follows up on work assignments for efficient, thorough completion.
• Notifies management of maintenance problems and recommended solutions.
• Keeps workshop or utility room clean, orderly, and safe.
• Read and/or listen to resident requests and complaints in a calm, respectful, and open manner.
• Maintain awareness of the condition of the property at all times, and take immediate steps to correct any unsafe condition.
• Perform work area clean-up and safety-related duties.
• Inspect and help coordinate all needed make-ready repairs and services. Assist service team to meet deadlines.
• Maintain professionalism at all times while representing the Company. This includes after-hours and weekend work, and any property-related functions.
• Maintain records of tasks completed, as required by Community Manager and/or Service Manager.
• Report all major repairs and need requisitions to Service Manager, prior to any expenditure of funds.
• Diagnose and perform minor or routine maintenance or repair on a daily basis

Experience/Skills:

• At least two years of experience as a Service Technician
• Excellent people skills. Must be a strong team player with good communication skills and the ability to manage time and set priorities.
• Must be willing to work weekends and holidays, and take emergency after hours service calls when needed.

• apartment maintenance: 2 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Preferred)
• EPA Certification (Preferred)

• Rock Hill, SC: Relocate before starting work (Required)
