Position: Trauma-Informed Psychotherapist

Location: [Milwaukee, Wisconsin]

Position Type: Full-time / at least two late nights per week

Job Description:

We are seeking a passionate and empathetic trauma-informed psychotherapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with individuals of diverse experiences; in particular, those who have experienced various forms of trauma, including but not limited to, childhood trauma, interpersonal violence, and systemic oppression. As a trauma-informed therapist, you will be responsible for providing culturally responsive and evidence-based therapy to clients from diverse cultural, racial, ethnic, and socio-economic backgrounds. Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities:

- Conduct trauma-informed assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for clients.

- Provide evidence-based therapy modalities, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and trauma-focused approaches.

- Foster a safe and supportive therapeutic environment that validates and respects clients' identities and experiences.

- Engage in ongoing professional development and training in trauma-informed care.

- Approach each client through a lens of cultural humility

Qualifications:

MSW or LPC (APSW or LPC-IT also accepted)

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $45,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
