Position Summary
This position is a non-licensed worker who is specifically trained under the direction of a Physical Therapist to perform designated routine tasks related to the operation of a physical therapy service.
This position, when providing direct service to patients, may function only with the continuous on-site supervision of the physical therapist or, where allowable by law and / or regulation, the physical therapist assistant.
This position works under direct supervision. Work situations are basically routine, yet require attention to detail. Internal contacts occasionally include other patient services staff.
External contacts are extensive with patients and may also include patient family and physicians.
Requirements
High school graduate or equivalent preferred
Minimum one (1) year experience in Physical Therapy department or related training
