Position Summary

Responsibilities

• You will provide support through patient registration, clinical order processing, medical record maintenance, entry, financial counseling, and fee collections
• You will serve as the focal point for department communications and as a resource for patients and families
• You will perform in accordance with infection control procedures and patient care unit standards
• You will regularly utilize independent decision-making capacities and strong interpersonal skills

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred
• Completion of Unit Secretary (Unit Coordinator) vocational training course preferred
• Minimum one (1) year of previous patient care or currently enrolled in clinical education program preferred
• Minimum one (1) year of equivalent clerical experience in a medical setting preferred
