The Dialectical Behavioral Therapy Psychologist is responsible for the development and implementation of an evidence-based therapy program to serve adolescents in our community. The incumbent works collaboratively with the Medical Director to create a Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) for adolescents to include the design and implementation of group, individual and family therapies using a dialectical behavior therapy for adolescents modality; provides after-hours patient and family support; serves as a resource to staff; and assures continual program enhancement.

Oversees the administration of psychology services.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES
Strong skills in program development, team collaboration, and evidence-based practices.
Knowledge and ability to use clinical experience in developing and operating a DBT program for adolescents.
Knowledge of and experience working in an electronic health record
Knowledge of funding matters for behavioral health
Skill in time management and ability to meet deadlines
Skill in creating high-performing teams
Ability to work independently, think strategically, and take initiative
Ability to accept responsibility willingly
Ability to communicate effectively
Ability to set priorities and use good judgment
Ability to be caring, calm, and able to work as part of a team
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Doctorate degree in Psychology required
Licensed as a Psychologist in Washington State
Five (5) years of experience working in a mental/behavioral health capacity serving children, adolescent and adults
Training in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy required, or willing to become certified. Shift: Day Employment Type: Full-Time Regular
