The Program of All-inclusive Care for the Elderly is a national plan that offers all-inclusive medical, social, and personal care to seniors who want to continue living in the community safely and avoid nursing home placement. All PNW PACE employees work to fulfill the vision of PNW PACE: "We will offer the highest value, compassionate, and equitable healthcare for seniors in our community with our goal to put participants first and create systems and services that help them stay in the community safely." The Medical Assistant for PNW PACE clinic provides team-based care and works closely with nursing, physicians, and APP's to provide the best care and service for our participants.

Position Summary

Responsibilities

• You will perform safe clinical skills within the scope of practice of the CMA, including clinical duties in the management of ambulatory patients
• You will be an integral part of the team working under the direction of a licensed health care practitioner
• You will utilize your knowledge towards the integration of available standards, resources, and data
• You will assist with front office duties as needed, applying your discretion, good judgment, and diplomacy towards the excellent office and patient care management

Requirements

• Completion of an accredited program for Medical Assistants
• Washington State Medical Assistant-Certified (MA-C)
• Minimum one (1) year of experience in physician's office or other medical facility preferred
