Warehouse Supervisor

JOB OVERVIEW

The Key Objective of the Warehouse Supervisor is to contribute to the growth and profitability of Multi-Pak by efficiently managing the incoming and outgoing functions of the Warehouse.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Supervision of warehouse functions relating to:

· Shipments are accurately checked and loaded free of damage.

· Receiving is unloaded in accordance with Multi-Pak SOPs and placed in appropriate area.

· Issuances are pulled 24-48 hours before lines are scheduled to run.

· Returns are processed in a 24-hour period.

· Inventory discrepancies are communicated to Client Services and Finance.

· MP achieves a grade of “A” on supplier scorecards quarterly based on on-time and complete deliveries.

· Physical Inventory is within 2% of book inventory.

• Warehouse Facility

· Ensures that all Multi-Pak warehouses are kept organized and clean and always audit ready.

· All inventory has a designated place and is properly stored for ease of inventory tracking.

· Appropriate parties are alerted on any repairs needed to the building.

· Equipment is well maintained and on a quarterly program for service.

· Staff

· Ensures that staff levels meet forecast to keep all areas of the warehouse fluid.

· All GMPs and SOPs are understood and followed.

· Safety is emphasized and training is kept current for all employees.

· Establishing strong communication with and between staff.

· All other duties as assigned by Warehouse Manager.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

· Fifteen plus years of warehouse experience.

· Experience managing shipping, receiving and inventory people and functions in a manufacturing concern with 1,000 plus components.

· Expertise in various computer and warehouse management programs, specifically short-term QuickBooks and Excel.

· Knowledge of cGMP’s and FDA regulated industries.

· Bachelor’s Degree highly preferred.

· Bi-lingual is a plus (English-Spanish).

· Certified trainer for various warehouse equipment.

REPORTING RELATIONSHIP:

Manager: Warehouse Manager

Managerial Responsibility: Clinton and Chapin warehouse personnel (8 people)

PHYSICAL/MENTAL DEMANDS:

· Must be able to lift-up to 45 pounds frequently and 75 pounds on occasion.

· Must be able to remain in the stationary position for up to 10% of the time.

· Must be able to walk or stand up to 90% of the time.

· The person in this position is sometimes required to function in narrow aisles or passageways while walking throughout the warehouse area.

· The person in this position will need to occasionally kneel, climb, crawl, and/or reach to complete their job duties.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $52,417.95 - $75,000.00 per year
