As a Commercial Equipment Repair Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing a wide range of equipment, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring customer satisfaction. 

Commercial Equipment Repair Job Duties

- Perform electrical and mechanical repairs on various equipment including but not limited to dishwashers, ice machines, and ovens

- Conduct field service visits to customers' businesses to diagnose and troubleshoot equipment issues

- Utilize schematics and technical manuals to identify and resolve equipment malfunctions 

- Assemble and disassemble equipment as needed for repairs or replacements 

- Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer concerns, answering questions, and explaining repair processes 

- Maintain accurate records of all repairs, parts used, and services provided using company provided hand held device. 

- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of repairs

- Previous experience as an Equipment Repair Technician or electrical repair is highly preferred 

- Knowledge of electrical systems and components

- Familiarity with refrigeration systems is a plus 

- Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical manuals 

- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and troubleshoot appliance issues effectively 

- Outstanding customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information in a clear and understandable manner

Requirements

• Must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record and be able to pass pre-employment screenings.
• Face to face interaction with customers.
• Strong work ethic, professional appearance, and safety consciousness.
• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds without assistance and up to 150 pounds with assistance
• This position is Monday - Friday with participation in the on-call rotation every 4-6 weeks.
