Multi Family is Hiring a Community Manager Near Hammond, LA

The Community Manager is responsible for the overall financial and operational management of the properties. Community Managers are tasked with overseeing all responsibilities of their staff members as well as addressing tenant concerns, reviewing operations reports, escalating collection efforts, coordinating maintenance objectives and managing their actuals vs budget.

Leasing Responsibilities

  • Submit annual marketing plans (promotions/events).
  • Review pre/leasing tracker for accuracy and review progress against goals.
  • Submit market rent recommendations for the upcoming calendar year.

Financial Responsibilities

  • Submit approved invoices for processing.
  • Oversee Accounts Receivables collection efforts, escalating to legal where needed.
  • Review the budget against actuals to assist in financial decisions.
  • Conduct final review of all move-out accounting workflows and post accounting.

Maintenance Responsibilities

  • Conduct vacant unit and property inspections, addressing concerns with the Maintenance Manager to execute a plan of action.
  • Delegate the scheduling of vendors as needed for service requests and other projects.
  • Oversee coordination of upcoming move-ins, inspections, and other projects as directed.
  • Solicit quotes/contracts/proposals from subcontractors and submit recommendations to Regional Maintenance Director for approval.

Management Responsibilities

  • Organize and update tasks/objectives on Trello.
  • Prepare and maintain all records, correspondence and files in Drive.
  • Find creative solutions to address tenant concerns, complaints and violations.
  • Manage on-site staff and vendor/contractor relationships.
  • Conduct bi-annual performance reviews for all employees.
  • Prepare management summary for the previous quarter to be included in Quarterly Investor Reporting.
  • Find creative solutions to address tenant concerns, complaints and violations.
  • Provide excellent customer service to prospective tenants and current residents.
