Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Leasing Agent. As a Leasing Agent, you will be responsible for assisting prospective tenants with finding and leasing residential properties. Your excellent communication skills and knowledge of property leasing laws will contribute to the success of our leasing operations.

Duties:
- Conduct property tours and showcase available units to prospective tenants
- Provide information on rental terms, application process, and lease agreements
- Screen potential tenants by conducting background checks and verifying income
- Assist with the preparation and execution of lease agreements
- Collect rental payments and ensure timely rent collection
- Address tenant inquiries, concerns, and maintenance requests in a timely manner
- Coordinate move-in and move-out processes, including inspections and key exchanges
- Maintain accurate records of tenant interactions, lease agreements, and property maintenance
- Collaborate with property management team to ensure compliance with LIHTC, Section 8, and other housing program requirements
- Utilize property management software (e.g., Yardi) to track leasing activities and maintain tenant information

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
- Proven experience as a Leasing Agent or similar role in the real estate industry
- Familiarity with property leasing laws, including LIHTC and Section 8 regulations
- Strong knowledge of property maintenance procedures and best practices
- Proficiency in using property management software (e.g., Yardi) and computer skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective tenant interactions
- Ability to handle conflict management situations with professionalism and diplomacy
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

Pay: $18.50 - $19.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
