Title: Security Officer/ Fireguard- Full- Time

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Security Officer to join our team. This position is in our Mid town Manhattan, site and is on-site.

Position Summary:

This site is a Humanitarian Site located in Mid town Manhattan. Now, we are seeking a polished security officer who can represent our brand. Main responsibilities include making sure the safety of all in the facility.

Essential Job Responsibilities:

• Ensure all clients are accounted for.
• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.
• Intercede, escort, or assist in escorting, persons as needed.
• Observe and report inappropriate or suspicious behavior and/or materials/objects to the client.
• Communicate and/or document any irregular security-related or safety-related incidents.

Minimum Requirements:

• 2 years of security experience
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Some work experience required.
• Must have an F-02 certification of Fitness.

Work Environment

• Typical Humanitarian environment.
• Willing and able to work additional hours as needed to ensure responsibilities are met with prior authorization.

Minimum Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma / GED
• Experience: 1 years of Security experience

• The rate for this role is $20.00- $21.00 hourly. Compensation will be commensurate with experience, skill level, functional and/or industry knowledge, education level, certifications, as well as other qualifications.
