Muller Engineering Company is actively seeking a dynamic candidate to join our Program Management team. The primary duty of this position is to lead coordination of utilities and irrigation for civil projects in the transportation sector. Effective utility and irrigation coordination is vital to the success of every project, and no project’s needs are ever the same. About Muller’s Program Management team: Technical design production is a critical element required to deliver a project, but it is not the only one. With an emphasis on the business side of engineering and project management, the Muller Program Management Team helps our clients navigate complex project delivery challenges that exist in addition to technical design package development.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide client support / owner’s representation services for utility and irrigation coordination on standard and alternative delivery projects.
• Coordinate project deliverables including correspondence, memorandums, technical reports, tracking, filing, reporting and more.
• Prepare and review memos, reports, utility, irrigation, and stakeholder agreements, and other documentation.
• Utilize management tools to support project scoping, funding, and scheduling.
• Facilitate effective meetings and organize agendas, minutes, and presentation materials.
• Desire to work within a team environment and provide outstanding internal and external client service.
• Show initiative with an emphasis on the business side of engineering and project coordination.
• Be a subject matter expert on utility and irrigation coordination for a range of company projects.

Education and/or Experience Requirements:

• A Civil Engineering bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university, coupled with 3-5 years of experience in the utility and/or transportation industry.
• Alternatively, a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in a different field, accompanied by 5-7 years of relevant experience.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented professional with strong customer service skills.
• Ability to demonstrate high levels of thinking, problem solving skills, and excel at building and maintaining professional relationships.

Required License or Certification:

• Active Engineer Intern (EI) designation in Colorado or another state is a plus.
• Active Colorado Professional Engineer license is a plus.

Base salary range for this position is: $75,000/yr - $95,000/yr dependent on individual education, qualifications, experience, and other factors.
