Job Description:

Apartment maintenance technician provides preventative and reactive maintenance in a variety of trades related to apartment maintenance, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, general carpentry, and equipment repair. Maintenance technicians are responsible for both maintaining and repairing occupied units plus preparing vacant apartments up to our standards for upcoming move-ins within the assigned time frame assigned by the leasing staff and maintenance supervisor.

**On-Call Pay $210/week ($30 per day)**

Responsibilities:

• Assist with completion of daily resident work orders
• Perform general maintenance and upkeep requests as directed by Office Manager and Maintenance Supervisor
• Prepare upcoming move-ins (painting and general maintenance of upcoming apartments)
• Comply with all established site safety and hazardous communication standards
• Assist with maintenance/cleanliness of pool area and its operations
• Perform property inspection checklists as directed by Maintenance Supervisor
• Perform on-call as part of on-call rotation schedule

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to adapt to change

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to work in a variety of weather conditions (rain, wind, snow, heat)
• Must be able to repetitively lift, push, pull & carry up to 25lbs, frequently up to 40 lbs and occasionally up to 100 lbs
• Must be able to twist, bend and squat frequently; kneel or crawl occasionally; infrequently climb a ladder
• Must be able to perform repetitive hand & arm movements, pushing and pulling and simple grasping frequently; squeezing, overhead reaching & fine manipulation occasionally
• Must be in physical condition to stand for extended periods, bend, reach, climb stairs, and grasp
