Live-In Housekeeper/Caregiver (FT)

Salary: $30 - $40 per hour

Job Description:

A family in Redington Beach, FL, consisting of 5 adults and 3 dogs, is seeking a reliable, patient, and skilled housekeeper/caregiver with cooking experience. The position involves working primarily in Florida but also requires relocation to their secondary residence in Wisconsin during the summer months. The ideal candidate should have a passion for caring for large dogs, experience in managing a large household, and proficiency in cooking. Live-in accommodation with separate bedrooms and bathroom suites will be provided both in Florida and Wisconsin. The family values professionalism, flexibility, and energy, seeking a candidate for long-term commitment.

Work Schedule Options:

• Monday to Friday, 10 am to 10 pm
• Monday to Thursday, 10 am to 10 pm, plus one weekend day from 10 am to 3 pm
• Monday to Friday, 10 am to 7 pm

Responsibilities:

• Daily housekeeping tasks to maintain the home
• Laundry duties including sorting, washing, folding, and light ironing
• Preparation of weekly menus and grocery shopping
• Meal preparation and cooking, including catering to dietary needs such as diabetic meals
• Pet care including walking, feeding, etc.
• Assisting the elderly mother with daily activities like walking and meal assistance
• Running errands as required

Requirements:

• Minimum 4 years of experience in a similar role within a private household
• Authorization to work in the US for any employer
• Flexibility in work schedule
• Excellent references from previous employers
• Discretion and confidentiality
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Trustworthy, friendly, and communicative
• Proficient in text and computer use
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 50 – 60 per week
