Job Title: Assistant to the Compliance and Human Resource Manager

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Assistant to the Compliance and Human Resource Manager. This multifaceted role will provide crucial support across compliance, human resources, and site management functions.

The Compliance and Human Resource Manager also plays a role as acting Site Supervisor at one our locations. Assistance with this will also be included.

Key Responsibilites:

1. Compliance Support:

- Responsible to the Compliance Manager for compliance with the obligations of the organization and state

- Assist in achieving complete compliance and the management of all compliance-related activities

- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to compliance activities, including licenses and certifications.

- Assist in the development and implementation of compliance training programs for employees at the site level.

- Ensure proper training of all guards.

2. Human Resource Support:

- Support the Human Resource Manager in recruitment efforts, including job postings, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews.

- Facilitate the onboarding process for new employees, focusing on paperwork completion.

- Maintain employee records and datebases, ensuring acuracy and confidentiality.

- Assist in employee relations matters, including conflict resolution and disciplinary actions, in collaboration with the HR Manager.

3. Site Supervision Assistance:

- Work closely with the Site Supervisor to support daily operations and maintenance activities.

- Help address any site-specific issues or concerns raised by employees or department heads.

Skills/Requirements:

- Observe the highest degree of confidentiality in handling information received in the course of discharging responsibilites

- Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively

- Attention to detail and accuracy in record keeping and updating

- Computer literacy, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint) and Google (Sheets, Calendar)

- Self Management - shows commitment to achieving work goals independent of direct constant supervision and stays motivated when tasks become difficult

- Problem solving mindset - operates under a "everything is figure outable" mindset

- Previous experience in compliance, human resources, or administrative roles is advantageous.

- Flexibility and adaptability to handle diverse respobsibilites in a dynamic work environment.

- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred but not required.

Pay:

starting at $20/hour

Schedule:

25-40 hours/week. Schedule and location will vary.
