Mudita Cafe is Hiring a Kitchen Staff Near Norfolk, VA
Mudita Cafe & Coffeehouse is a women-owned cafe & bar in Oceanview, Norfolk that with a focus on serving top quality Coffee, Tea, Wine, & Cocktails alongside breakfast, lunch, & small bites. We've been open a year and a half and are excited to have seen solid growth within our first year.
Weekend Availability Required.
Responsibilities:
- Memorize menu (food and drinks)
- Build sandwiches correctly and in a timely manner
- Be able to follow checklists
- Prep kitchen
- Organize and clean station
- Proper customer service practices
- Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety regulations
- Regularly review product quality
- An Understanding of VA ABC Laws & Regulations
- Must be able to thrive in a fast-paced, high-demand restaurant
- Must have the ability to multi-task and communicate effectively
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Reliable transportation is required
- Team oriented
Preferred Qualifications :
- 2 years of kitchen experience
- ServeSafe Management Certified
- Strong Written & Verbal Communication Skills
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 4 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Holidays
- Weekends as needed
