Purpose of Position: The Paint Maintenance Technician (3rd Shift) will contribute to the success of the Paint by performing:
Essential Job Functions

• Clean primer booth and the shrouds in the base and clear booths, then reapplication.
• Tack and mop all of the flash tunnels and hallways around the paint line.
• Empty purge bucket dumps in waste drums.
• Clean the air knife
• Clean the preparation room
• Clean Satellite room
• Sweep and mop all rooms of paint department
• Clean and sweep load and north area
• Check scrubbers in all applicable booths
• Check grease on walls and tack coating on ceilings
• Walk line and make sure everything is clean.
• Change all scrubbers in all booths.
• Change all baffles in all booths.
• Change grates in Base and Clear booths.
• Clean Exhaust Fans, Duct Work, and Air Houses.

Skills

• Ability to work and maneuver in tight spots and around potentially dangerous equipment and machinery.
• Willing and able to work overtime and weekends, even on a short notice basis.
• Must be detail oriented and verify work is accurate.
• Ability to meet production and quality standards.
• Be able to distinguish colors as needed.
• Strong self-initiative and motivation must work well without constant supervision
