Job Summary:
We are seeking a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PsychNP) for per diem work.

Hours: M-F day shift; 15 - 20 hours per week; Hybrid schedule available - 3 days onsite/2 days telehealth or a combination of this, NOT FULLY REMOTE, you must work onsite at least one day a week.

Per Diem Rate: $120 to $130 per hour

Duties:
- Conduct psychiatric evaluations and assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans
- Prescribe and manage medications for patients with mental health disorders
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of treatment plans
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide holistic care
- Provide counseling and psychoeducation to patients and their families
- Document patient encounters and maintain accurate medical records

Experience:
- Must be a licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PsychNP) for NY state

- Prefer a PMHNP-BC

- Previous experience in psychiatric or mental health settings is preferred
- Strong knowledge of psychopharmacology and evidence-based treatment modalities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

- Must complete all documentation in our system in a timely manner
