Additional Requirements:
Requires prolonged sitting or standing

Position Description:
Malama Speech Therapy is seeking part-time or full time occupational therapists to delivery therapy services to the students of Hawaii (pre-k through high school).
Qualifications:
● Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited university
● OT license in the state of Hawaii
● Certification from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT)
● Valid Driver License
● Pass FBI background check
● TB clearance
● CPR certification
● Experience within a school setting is recommended but not required
Core Responsibilities:
● Assessing and diagnosing a variety of developmental disorders
● Writing measurable, observable, and functional goals that align with Common Core State Standards with parent and team input
● Delivering quality interventions to students by utilizing research and evidenced-based practices to drive treatment decisions
● Demonstrating proficiency with a variety of service delivery models that allow the student to access the general education curriculum in the least restrictive environment.
● Evaluating the effectiveness of interventions with continuous progress monitoring
● Adapting and modifying the curriculum and tools for the classroom based on the student's present levels of performance and progress towards goals
● Correctly writing and entering the following within a timely fashion: assessments, IEPs, progress reports, documentation of services, parent contact
