The Urology Department at M Physicians provides a wide range of services for the diagnosis and treatment of conditions related to the kidneys, ureters and bladder, including cancers of the kidneys, ureters, bladder and prostate. Our team of professions treats benign conditions such as enlargement of the prostate, incontinence, kidney stones, impotence and much more. Urology is a surgical practice, so we do many procedures in the office (cystoscopy, vasectomy and treatments for benign prostate enlargement). While patients of all ages may need to see a urologist, we see only adult patients. As a Clinical Support Professional, you will play a meaningful role in supporting providers and patients during their clinic visits. Key responsibilities include monitoring clinic schedules, greeting and guiding patients to their examination room, and collecting pertinent medical information for their health records. In addition, you will be a valued partner in delivering an outstanding patient experience by coordinating and communicating with other members of the health care team, including nursing staff, advanced practice providers, and physicians, among others. Minimum Qualifications: High school Diploma or GED Excellent customer service, public relations, and interpersonal skills Ability to prioritize and work with a fluctuation in workload while working independently Demonstrated ability to follow protocol specific care delivery expectations Preferred Qualifications: One of the following: Medical Assisting Diploma from a CHEA/CAAHEP accredited program (CMA or RMA preferred) OR active Minnesota Licensed Practical Nursing (LPN) license CMA (Certified Medical Assistant) or RMA (Registered Medical Assistant) If selected for hire, compensation and job classification will be individually determined based on a candidate’s specific background, including licensure, certifications, and experience level.
