Heavy Duty Inside sales representatives work in an office environment selling products to customers with heavy-duty vehicles.
Heavy Duty Inside sales representatives should build rapport and achieve customer satisfaction.
Heavy Duty Inside Sales, representatives are responsible for gaining new leads and converting them to ongoing customers through relationship building.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
Greets customers promptly and courteously.
Answers telephone promptly and minimizes hold calls.
Takes orders over the phone.
Maintains customer addresses, telephone numbers, etc. up to date.
Sells products to customers via telephone and counter.
Attempts sales of additional items, parts, and/or accessories.
Assists outside sales and customers in locating parts.
Ensures that the outside sales and customers receive parts in a timely manner.
Maintains ongoing effective communication with customers and outside sales regarding parts.
Answer customers' questions about pricing, products, availability, and product features.
Stays informed about products and services.
Ensures that product catalogs are current.
Reads catalogs to determine new parts on the market.
Locates other vendors who have the part if it isn't in stock.
Recommends substitute parts if parts aren’t available.
Maintains an updated call log of part inquiries from phone calls.
Keeps himself/herself groomed per MSP guidelines.
Performs other tasks as required by the Inside Sales Manager or Upper Management.
