Description: A telemetry RN is needed for a hospital in Concord, CA. 13-week travel contract.12-hour Day Shifts. Earn up to $2037 tax-free weekly with the nation's leading staffing company.

Job requirements:

• At least 16 months of paid, strong Telemetry experience
• 36- hours a week, Day & Night Shifts, weekend rotation
• COVID Vaccine with Booster exemptions accepted
• License: Hold and maintain a current RN license
• Certification: Must hold and maintain both the Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certificate and the Basic Life Support (BLS) Certificate issued by the American Heart Association. National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS)

Job Responsibilities:

• certified stroke unit is also main unit for observation patients.
• Additional associated diagnoses may include but are not limited to, cardiac dysthymias and unstable angina.
• General Med/Sur patients may also be placed on CV Tele South when bed space allows.
• Major treatment modalities include cardiac telemetry, single vasoactive infusions requiring minimal titration, antiarrhythmic drug administration, tight blood glucose control managed with insulin infusions, pulse ox monitoring and minimal chest tube management.
• The staffing ratio is 1:4, with some nursing assistant support.
