ROLE PURPOSE/ POSITION SUMMARY

The primary role of the Recruiting Coordinator is to provide a great candidate experience while facilitating the movement of candidates through the recruitment process.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES/PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

· Manage the requisition approval process and the opening, posting, closing, and altering of positions in the Applicant Tracking System, working closely with the HR team and hiring managers.

· Ensure that all candidates are accurately processed through the Applicant Tracking System, providing guidance and training to the HR team and hiring managers when needed.

· Assist with sourcing potential candidates via social media sites, recruiting job boards, career fairs and potential community involvement.

· Screen resumes and conducts initial interviews where appropriate.

· Manage the pre-employment process by coordinating interviews, sending offer letters, generating background checks and acting as a liaison between candidates, recruiters, and hiring managers. Ensure all pre-employment requirements are performed in accordance with company policy.

· Track recruitment activity and prepare reports as directed by the leadership team.

· Respond to and resolve general email and phone inquiries directed to the Recruiting team. Sourcing and attracting candidates by using databases, social media etc.

· Ensures the complete and accurate filing of all employee documentation.

· Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS/ CAPABILITY PROFILE

Minimum Education

Associate degree - Desirable

Minimum Experience

At least 1 year of Recruiting or Human Resources or related experience - Essential

Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems - Essential

Experience in a fast-paced and high-volume work environment - Essential

Minimum Knowledge/ Skills/ Abilities

· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to work under pressure, prioritize and handle multiple competing tasks and demands simultaneously - Essential

· Ability to maintain strict levels of confidentiality - Essential

· Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to communicate professionally and effectively in person, on the phone, electronically or through other means - Essential

· Must possess a high degree of proficiency with a variety of computer applications, including word processing, spreadsheets, database software, and online systems - Essential

· Strong decision-making skills - Essential

· Strong initiative and ability to influence - Essential

· Proficient in Excel, Word, and Google Doc formats - Essential
